The voluntary action \u201cPlant Here, Plant There\u201d, promoted by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, turned out to be a great success that counted with the community’s participation in plating endemic flora on the surrounding area of the largest lagoon of Pico, the Lagoa do Caiado.<\/p>\n

During the activity, the LIFE BEETLES\u2019 team raised the participants’ awareness to the importance of native species in this intervention area of the project, and in total, 240 individuals of \ud835\ude11\ud835\ude36\ud835\ude2f\ud835\ude2a\ud835\ude31\ud835\ude26\ud835\ude33\ud835\ude36\ud835\ude34 \ud835\ude23\ud835\ude33\ud835\ude26\ud835\ude37\ud835\ude2a\ud835\ude27\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude2d\ud835\ude2a\ud835\ude22 were planted.<\/p>\n

These actions are an essential tool for disseminating the importance of habitat and target species of the project, in this specific case, the \ud835\ude17\ud835\ude34\ud835\ude26\ud835\ude36\ud835\ude25\ud835\ude22\ud835\ude2f\ud835\ude24\ud835\ude29\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude2e\ud835\ude26\ud835\ude2f\ud835\ude36\ud835\ude34 \ud835\ude22\ud835\ude31\ud835\ude35\ud835\ude2a\ud835\ude2f\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude2a\ud835\ude25\ud835\ude26\ud835\ude34, an endemic beetle of Pico.<\/p>\n
