The LIFE BEETLES project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, was present at the INTER LIFE PT 2025 event, which took place in Vila Real. This annual meeting, organised by the Portuguese Environment Agency, aims to promote the exchange of experiences between the different LIFE projects underway at the national level.
The LIFE BEETLES project took part in a round table dedicated to sharing the experiences of projects nearing completion, where successes, difficulties and strategies for overcoming the challenges that can arise during project implementation were discussed.
This year’s host project was LIFE Maronesa, which took the participants to its intervention areas in Lamas de Olo, in the Alvão Nature Park. This field trip provided an on-site experience of the project’s different actions and objectives and fostered a space for networking and sharing.
