The nature conservation work being carried out in the intervention areas of the LIFE BEETLES project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, includes various types of actions, and maintenance work is essential for the good progress of the project.
With some interventions involving the removal of eucalyptus trees in one of the project’s intervention areas, it was necessary to remove a protective wall to facilitate the removal of plant biomass. The Regional Secretariat’s team of operational assistants showed their skills by maintaining and rebuilding the wall. This action allows a precise delimitation of the intervention area and helps to protect the area and the works already carried out.
