The LIFE BEETLES project participated in the 2nd Technical Workshop of the LIFE VIDALIA project: “Invasive Exotic Flora: Species Diversity, Geographical Patterns. Control Methodologies and LIFE Conservation Projects”, which took place on Faial island.

This workshop featured experienced speakers in the area of invasive flora and the managers of LIFE projects in the Region, whom fights invasive species on a daily basis. The LIFE BEETLES project made its contribution, participating with an online presentation on Habitat Restoration and the challenges that invasive flora represent in its mission.

The exchange of experiences and knowledge between speakers and participants was very positive, and there were very interesting interventions to improve and innovate the methods used to combat invasive alien species in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
